Biography
Austin Walton was born in Newport News, VA. He has over ten years of success in basketball both as a player and coach. He coached at the high school level and for AAU perennial power, Boo Williams.
Austin 's involvement in negotiations benefit from his many relationships throughout the basketball industry. He is responsible for assisting Dynasty clients within the collegiate ranks as well as specific players assigned to him make a smooth transition to the professional ranks. Austin is involved with many aspects of client management ranging from recruiting, talent evaluation, client representation, endorsement contracts, the arrangement of strength and conditioning programs, basketball skills training and pre-draft workouts for Dynasty athletes. He specializes in NBA salary and contract research. While researching statistics and promoting clients, he maintains contact with every team throughout the year to find the best fit for players in summer leagues and training camps, as well as continuously positioning his clients for the upcoming draft. In addition, Austin deals with all domestic minor leagues. He seeks to maximize clients' earning potential and career longevity.
Austin graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, major in marketing. He earned a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University in 2008 and will soon have his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in 2010 from the University of Houston . He currently serves as a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association. He is also a member of many prestigious Honors Societies including Alpha Kappa Psi.
