Biography

Nick Czyz is a 6'2" 220 lbs LHP from Overland Park, Kansas and currently pitching within the Seattle Mariners organization. He was selected by Seattle in the June 2008 MLB Draft. He spent my first summer with the Pulaski Mariners in Virginia where the Mariners were divisional champions with a record of 40-27. Czyz was given the award of Starting Pitching MVP by Scott Sepich on mariners.scout.com.

Nick Czyz went to high school at Blue Valley West in his hometown of Overland Park, Kansas. He was awarded scholarships and took official visits to Nebraska, Wichita State, and Kansas. He eventually accepted a scholarship to the University Of Kansas and played with his brother Don for a year. His freshman year, Nick started in the Big XII Tournament championship where he was awarded the Win and his brother Don picked up the save.

Nick is currently finishing up his college degree majoring in Economics with a minor in Business. His parents are Bo and Joanne, and he has two brothers Don and Joe.
