Phillip Hillstock is a combo-forward that has a very good face-up game and post presence. Phillip will also bring toughness and energy on the floor. At 6'8" 225, he can provide scoring from both the low or high post. His athleticism and versatility are a commodity for any team.
Phillip is great at running in transition, finishing at the rim with authority, hitting the three, and scoring on the block with ease. Hillstock is an active shot blocker on the weak-side and a very good defender of the wing and post. At his size, he is a great high-post power forward that has a great shooting touch in the mid-range, which extends beyond the 3-point line. Hillstock is also a very good finisher around the rim with both hands. He played at Barber Scotia College, where he finished his senior season ranking 1st in field goal % in the nation, 1st on the team in rebounds, steals, blocks and scoring. Since college, Phillip has played in various leagues (IBL, WBA, ABA and Euroleague) and has performed well at all levels.
