Dynasty Quickly Gains Second Baseball Client By Signing Leatherman
Hollywood, Fl. - March 24, 2008, In what turned out to be a very active day for Dynasty Athlete Representation, LLC, the company signed a second client in its newly formed Baseball Division. Dynasty welcomes Dan Leatherman to its baseball family.
Dan began his collegiate career at Frederick Community College, but transfered to West Virginia University, where he highlighted the school's pitching staff by going 7-2 in his Junior Year. The Minnesota Twins signed Dan as a non-drafted free agent. Leatherman spent only three games with the Gulf Coast League Twins before being promoted to Elizabethton. He then was crowned Twins Minor League Player of the month of July after going 4-0 with a 0.36 ERA, striking out 23 batters and only walking 4 in 24 innings. He was promoted again in his first year, putting up a 2.45 ERA while leading Class A Beloit to the Midwest League championship.
Dan was recently listed as the #38 top prospect in the Minnesota Twins organization by Scout.com. He was inexplicably released by the Twins Minor League Spring Training Camp in 2008. Aligned with Dynasty, Dan hopes to be playing again real soon.
